Las Vegas’ Brittney Palmer came to the WEC after a stint as a boxing ring card girl, and once she got her first dose of mixed martial arts action, she was hooked.

“There’s really no comparison,” said Ms. Palmer.  “When you’re watching boxing, it’s like ‘okay, they can throw punches,’ but when you’re watching WEC, it’s just so much better.  When you’re happy to be there and happy to watch it, you’re happy to be working.

“The more people the better – go big or go home,” laughs Brittney, who is a performer in one of Las Vegas’ major shows when not captivating crowds at WEC shows.  “When we went to Albuquerque, the arena was so great and it was such an adrenaline rush.  And even though we were just the ring card girls, it was really cool to be part of something that big.”
