Thoughts on opponent, Rob Kimmons? I think Rob Kimmons is a solid fighter with an impressive record. He has a lot of experience and wins fights by being tougher than his opponents. My style will give him a lot of problems but I do think we could be fight of the night easily.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training five and half years ago for fun. I fought all my life with my brother, Ray Steinbeiss.
What ranks and titles have you held? Undefeated fighter in K-1 kickboxing
Do you have any heroes? Ernesto Hoost, Peter Aerts
What is your favorite technique? Kicking people in the head
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is an honor to fight for the UFC. They are the longest running organization and the most widely recognized. I look forward to fighting on the biggest stage for MMA.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Two years of junior college
What was your job before you started fighting? Superintendent of a Construction Company
